A man has died more than two weeks after a bus crash outside Carlisle train station left him hospitalised.

Preparatory work has begun on James Street as the next phase of work for the Carlisle Station Gateway Project gets underway.

Avanti West Coast has confirmed all lines between Carlisle and Edinburgh Waverley are blocked.
