An expert has accused the government of misleading the public over the risk of contaminated cabin air on planes, writes Joel Hills.

The leader of the Unite union has told ITV News he wants a public inquiry to address concerns about the safety of aeroplane cabin air.

Responding for the first time to recent questions over the death of a steward, Walsh insisted the evidence said cabin air was safe.
