A couple in Surrey were slapped with a £60 fine for driving in a Bath bus lane - despite not being in the city at the time.

More than five thousand drivers, fined for using a controversial bus lane, are due to receive a refund from Newcastle City Council.

New restrictions introduced on John Dobson Street have earned the council £400,000 since enforcement cameras went live in February.
