Building Schools

A brand-new city centre primary school located in the heart of Manchester's growing skyscraper district has opened it's doors.

The Shadow Education Secretary has told ITV News Tyne Tees she believes there are 'still gaps' in the list of schools affected by the Raac scandal.

The Prime minister has announced that £1 billion will be spent rebuilding schools over the next decade. They government say fifty new schools will be built, with construction expected to start from next September.
