Jersey Development Company have revealed their plans for a revamped St Helier Waterfront, but did not confirm the number of homes that would be built.

Jersey's Mitchell Building Contractors has ceased trading as of Wednesday 2 October, leaving 33 people jobless.

The States of Guernsey may review the competition between building suppliers following concerns that the cost of building materials are unfairly high.
