Bronze Age

Dating from 1000-800 BCE, the hoard is made up of more than 500 bronze and organic pieces that have laid undisturbed for more than 3,000 years.

The museum's most prized artefact - a golden torc from the Bronze Age valued at £220,000 - was stolen in the early hours

The rare discovery was made in West Cumbria.
