The Dorset actor and the gold medalist were keen to pass on their passion for horses to the next generation.

Motorists are being asked to pass riders "slow and wide" in a bid to cut injuries on the roads. New signs are going up across the Thames Valley.

The British Horse Society says there were 60 collisions and near misses reported in our region last year.
