Labour is not renewing use of the accommodation barge, as part of Home Office plans to save £7.7billion in asylum costs over the next decade.

Migrants are being transferred from the barge and into hotels across the country but will not remain in Dorset.

Dorset Council has confirmed there will be no new arrivals on the Bibby Stockholm barge, as its decommissioning process has been outlined.
