Bewicks Swans

Maisie and Maifield have travelled an epic 3,500km from Russia's arctic tundra to reach England.

The oil removes the swans' waterproofing meaning they'll become waterlogged resulting in them spending more time out of the water and vulnerable to predators.

A team of volunteers set off for Russia, where they will meet up with ‘Swan woman’ Sacha Dench-following the Bewick swans' migration flight.
