The 30-year-old's £500,000 per month wage was withheld by the club after he was charged with rape and sexual assault in 2021, an employment tribunal was told.
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) had sought a bankruptcy order against the French footballer over a bill previously said to be around £800,000.
