Autism Charity

Staff at the North East Autism Charity have said there is a 10 month wait for a new vehicle because it was custom made for the needs of vulnerable people.

Figures show only 29% of autistic people in the UK are in work, and Autism Jersey believes the figure is similar in the Bailiwick.

The new initiative aims to support employers to take on more people from the autistic community.
