The comet put on a show for skygazers armed with telescopes at the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park for a once in a life time experience.

Researchers are reassuring people that the Comet doesn't pose any danger to Earth, and is about the same distance from our planet as we are from the sun.

Across Cumbria and the south of Scotland, people have being grabbing cameras and smartphones to try and record the lunar light show.
