Armadillo

It's the first time the zoo has kept armadillos, which originate from South America

Patsy and Eddie 'seem to have over-indulged' over Christmas, and have each put on a 1kg during a sleepy time of year for the Drusilla Zoo animals.

Since the health scare the little armadillo has been thriving in the nursery and steadily gaining weight and has even opened his eyes.
