The landlord of Combe Down allotments, which is around 130 years old, has terminated his lease with the council.

The operators of a contested 600-plot allotment site in North Somerset are challenging council calls to apply for planning permission.

The site is beside a busy A-road and residents claim wildlife habitats have been destroyed to create it.
