Rhun ap Iorwerth is currently the party’s health spokesperson in the Senedd and it follows Adam Price's decision to step down as leader of the party last month.

Mark Drakeford and Andrew RT Davies both paid tribute to Mr Price, but made no reference to the Prosiect Pawb report on Plaid Cymru.

North Wales MS Llŷr Gruffydd has been confirmed as Plaid Cymru's interim leader following a meeting of the party's National Council.
