Paul Nuttall named new Ukip leader
Paul Nuttall has been announced as the new leader of Ukip.
The former deputy leader won 62.6% of the vote, beating Suzanne Evans and John Rees-Evans.
The leadership contest had been triggered when Diane James gave up the leadership last month, just 18 days after being elected to replace Nigel Farage.

New Ukip leader Paul Nuttall said his election is the start of a new era for the party.
In his acceptance speech, the former deputy leader told supporters: "This is day zero, it's a new beginning.
"I have been there every step of the way. I have not just talked the talk, I've walked the walk.
"I will finish by saying; Ukip's future is bright, but for it to be so, Ukip must unite.
"And today's result has ensured that it will. There's a lot to do ladies and gentlemen, my friends, my colleagues, my brothers and sisters in Ukip.
"Let's get out there and let's get cracking!"
Farage promises not to be a 'back seat driver'
Nigel Farage has promised not to be "a back seat driver" now new Ukip leader Paul Nuttall has been elected.
The outgoing leader said Ukip was in a good position to thrive under its new head.
"I think everything is to play for and I am happy and confident that I'm handing this over at a good time," he said.
Mr Farage said he would serve out his term in the European Parliament until 2019.
But more imminently, he was this week "going off to the USA - but you will understand, purely as a tourist".

New Ukip leader Paul Nuttall has said he wants to replace the Labour party as the patriotic voice of working people in Britain.
He said a new chapter had opened for the party today and was "honoured" Ukip members had placed their faith in him.

He said he would "build a team of talent from all wings of the party" to "put the Great back into Britain".
And he added anyone not wanting to unify would see their days as a Ukip member coming to an end.
