Girl, 14, arrested after 87-year-old is punched in face

A 14-year-old girl has been arrested after an elderly woman was punched on a bus in Croydon, police say.

The 87-year-old victim was left with a black eye after she was attacked on the route 166 bus last month.

The girl remains in custody at a police station in south London.

Scotland Yard said a second female allegedly involved in the incident has been identified but has not been arrested.
