People have been sharing their images of famous landmarks shrouded in dense fog as adverse weather conditions continue to cause travel disruption across the UK.

Fog clocks up more than 90,000 minutes of flight delays

Dense fog has already clocked up 90,257 minutes of flight delays this morning, according to the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation.

According to the monitoring body delays have been experienced at airports including London, Manchester, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Berlin.

Travel disruption caused by heavy fog across the UK this morning has been affecting many commuters - including Sky News presenter Eamonn Holmes.

Holmes tweeted that he was unable to get to the studio because of the "pea souper".
