Man rushed to hospital after London building collapse
A man has been taken to hospital after suffering injuries in a building collapse in central London.
A London Ambulance spokesperson told ITV News paramedics treated the man for head and hip injuries before he was taken to the Royal London Hospital.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed a 56-year-old man had been taken to hospital.
Pictures taken at the scene showed an air ambulance nearby.
LSE students urged to 'stay clear' of area
Students at the London School of Economics have been evacuated and told to "stay clear" of the area after a nearby building collapsed.

A witness to a building collapse in central London has described the noise when scaffolding fell as "harrowing".

Hundreds of people have been evacuated after a building in central London collapsed.
The six-storey building, on the junction of Serle and Portugal Street in Holborn, collapsed on Monday evening.
It was currently under demolition, London Fire Brigade said.
Around 200 people from the building site and surrounding properties have been evacuated, the brigade added.
