France has charged four men suspected of having ties with one of the gunmen behind the deadly terror attacks in Paris.

The men are alleged to have provided logistical support to Amedy Coulibaly, who shot a policewoman on the outskirts of the city before killing four hostages at a kosher deli supermarket, Associated Press reported.

The four, three of whom have criminal records, have been remanded in custody on suspicion of association with terrorism pending further inquiries, Paris prosecutor Francois Mollins said.

Coulibaly was shot dead by police after the attack on the supermarket, which came a day after two gunmen Chérif and Saïd Kouachi stormed the offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris.
