Unmanned NASA rocket explodes shortly after takeoff

A NASA rocket bound for the International Space Station exploded six seconds after takeoff at Wallops Island in Virginia.

The company says no one was believed to be hurt and the damage appeared to be limited to the facilities.

An unmanned Nasa rocket which was taking supplies to the International Space Station has exploded after take off in Virginia.

Nasa tweeted that it was gathering information to find out what happened to the rocket.
