Fiona Bruce: 'Male presenters not judged on clothing'

TV presenter and newsreader Fiona Bruce says her male colleagues do not come in for the same kind of comments about how they dress as their female counterparts.

Speaking to the Radio Times the former Crimewatch presenter says: ""They're all good-looking men - I can't think of a male presenter who isn't a good-looking bloke - but, you know, they're not judged by their suits and ties."

She also described how members of the public sometimes approach her to say they dislike something she has worn on a show.

"You think, 'I really don't like what you're wearing either!"' she joked.
