Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard were among the England footballers snapped on the tarmac as the squad prepared to fly to Miami for a series of pre-World Cup friendlies.
Hodgson: World Cup 'a great adventure' for England
England coach Roy Hodgson said the Brazil World Cup "is going to be a great adventure" as the squad readied themselves for a trip to Miami ahead of the tournament.
Hodgson said: "We'll all very excited about it. We got the perfect send off really on Friday night, the crowd was magnificent and think we're in a very positive mood. We feel positive we'll do what we can".
Speaking at London's Luton Airport, Hodgson said there was "no trepidation," but that there "was excitement."
"We're aware of our responsibilities - we know that we carry a lot of hopes and dreams with us," he added.
England leave for Miami to start World Cup friendlies
The England team have flown to Miami, Florida to begin their final preparations before the opening game of the 2014 Brazilian World Cup.
Roy Hodgson's men left Luton for the warmer weather of Florida, United States, where they will play three friendlies against Ecuador and Honduras on Wednesday and Saturday respectively.
