European election: 'We are facing a political earthquake'
A poll published by The Sun newspaper claims Ukip will win the European election, gaining 22 MEPs.
ITV New Political Editor Tom Bradby said: "It's only a poll, but it does look like we are facing a bit of a political earthquake - certainly a protest vote, the like of which we perhaps haven't seen."
According to the poll of 6,000 voters, both Ukip and Labour would send 22 MEPs to Brussels, while the Tories would secure 16 seats.

Parties in final push hours before polls open
Political parties are bracing themselves for the verdict of the public in the biggest electoral test since the last general election. Voters across the UK will vote 73 MEPs, 4,232 local councillors and five local mayors in parts of London.

Ukip narrowly ahead of Labour in latest election poll
Ukip is set to win 27% of the vote in the upcoming European elections, a poll by YouGov and The Sun newspaper claims.
Trailing behind Ukip with 26% is Labour, with the Conservatives far behind the two with 22%, the poll suggests.
The Green Party comes in with 10% and the Lib Dems with 9%.

A poll has predicted Ukip and Labour will each win 22 seats in the European Parliament election.
The YouGov/The Sun poll suggests that, compared to the last election, the following will happen:
- Ukip: 22 (+9)
- Labour: 22 (+9)
- Conservatives: 16 (-10)
- Green Party: 4 (+2)
- Lib Dems: 3 (-8)
According to the poll of 6,000 voters, both Ukip and Labour would send 22 MEPs to Brussels, while the Tories would secure 16 seats.
The Lib Dems, who currently hold 11 seats in the European Parliament, are expected to send only three MEPs, while the Green Party look set for four.

Ukip is set to win the European election on Thursday, narrowly beating Labour, according to the latest YouGov/The Sun poll.
The projection sees the Conservative Party relegated to the third place for the first time in the political history.
