TV star Susanna Reid has said she could not turn down the "huge opportunity" after quitting the BBC Breakfast sofa to join ITV's new rival morning show, Good Morning Britain:

New presenting team to host Good Morning Britain

Joining Susanna Reid in presenting Good Morning Britain, will be Ben Shephard, Sean Fletcher and Charlotte Hawkins.

Ben Shepard has been a familiar face on ITV for nearly 15 years. Joining the channel in 2000, Ben fronted GMTV for 10 years, as well as presenting popular entertainment shows The Xtra Factor and more recently, Tipping Point.

Sean Fletcher joins ITV after more than ten years of broadcasting at the BBC and Sky in sports, news and documentaries.

Charlotte Hawkins’ broadcasting career has spanned nearly 15 years, presenting most recently alongside Eamonn Holmes on Sky’s Sunrise.

Susanna Reid joins ITV's new breakfast presenting team

ITV has announced a new presenting team who will host its newly named breakfast show, Good Morning Britain.

Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard, Charlotte Hawkins and Sean Fletcher will be joining the channel as ITV’s main weekday presenters between 6am and 8.30am.

Lorraine Kelly will now be at the helm of her own show, Lorraine, between 8.30am and 9.25am, five days a week.

Aled Jones will present a new weekend morning show, Weekend, between 8.30am and 9.25am starting later this year.
