Hague: Government 'looking at' allowing Syrian refugees into UK

Foreign Secretary William Hague has acknowledged that the government is "looking at" the option of allowing some Syrian refugees to come to the UK.

Speaking on BBC 1's Andrew Marr Show, he said "there is a case ... particularly for helping people who are particularly vulnerable".

He said the Home Secretary was considering the idea and would have more to say in the coming days.
