Police release mugshots of Twitter trolling duo
The Metropolitan Police has released mugshots of the pair who were jailed for sending abusive Twitter messages to feminist campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez.
Isabella Sorley, 23, of Newcastle was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment, while 25-year-old John Nimmo, of South Shields, was handed an eight-week sentence.
They were also ordered to pay £800 in compensation for "sending by means of a public electronic communications network messages which are menacing in character."
'Trolling' victim reports new abusive tweeter to police
Moments after issuing a statement about the jail sentence given to her online abusers, Caroline Criado-Perez tweeted that she had reported another Twitter user to the police.

Twitter abuse had 'life-changing effect' on victim
Judge Howard Riddle said the effect of Twitter abuse on feminist campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez had been "life-changing".
The victim describes "panic and fear and horror," he said.
The judge added that online abuse aimed at Stella Creasy had also had a "substantial" impact on the Labour MP, who has had a panic button installed in her home.
Twitter abuse pair ordered to pay compensation
Isabella Sorley and John Nimmo, who were jailed today for sending abusive messages to feminist campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez, were also ordered to pay her a total of £800 compensation.
Criado-Perez said in a statement that she plans to give the damages to charity.
"When this has all sunk in I will decide which charity," she added.
Twitter abuse victim 'immensely relieved' by sentence
Caroline Criado-Perez said she is "immensely relieved" following the sentencing of her online abusers.
The feminist campaigner issued a statement on Twitter that said she didn't feel she could cope with being in court with Isabella Sorley and John Nimmo.
"I didn't feel sure that the judge would understand how terrifying and scarring the whole experience has been for me," she wrote.
"I feel immensely relieved that the judge clearly has understood the severity of the impact this abuse has had on me."

Earlier this month the pair pleaded guilty to sending menacing tweets following Criado-Perez's campaign to ensure a woman featured on British bank notes.
Jail 'almost inevitable' for feminist's Twitter trolls
Two Twitter trolls due to be sentenced today after admitting to sending death and rape threats to campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez have been warned by the judge that jail is "almost inevitable".
Isabella Sorley and John Nimmo pleaded guilty to sending menacing tweets on January 7, admitting they were among the users of 86 separate Twitter accounts from which Ms Criado-Perez had received abusive messages.
Sorley was warned by District Judge Howard Riddle that it is "almost inevitable" that she would receive a jail sentence following her attack on Ms Criado-Perez, who campaigned for a female figure to appear on a Bank of England note.
The judge also told Nimmo, described to the court as a "social recluse" who "rarely leaves his house", that "all options" as to his sentence remained open.

Two people are facing jail today after they admitted sending menacing Twitter messages to a feminist campaigner.
Isabella Sorley, 23 and John Nimmo, 25 used Twitter to threaten 29-year-old student and campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez with obscene messages that included death and rape threats following her campaign to ensure a woman featured on British bank notes.
Nimmo also targeted Stella Creasy, the Labour MP for Walthamstow, with the message "The things I cud do to u (smiley face)", calling her "Dumb blond bitch."
