Roma camp want 'Maria' back

Greece has ordered a nationwide birth certificate probe after the mystery blonde girl, known as Maria, was given a birth certificate years after she was born, the Associated Press reported.

Earlier today, the family at the Roma camp where Maria was found told ITV News they want her back.

The officials in Athens who gave a birth certificate to the girl known as Maria years after she was actually born have been suspended.

Maria only received the birth certificate this year.

Police in Greece said there are no children on Interpol's missing persons list that are a match with Maria.
