Many demonstrators had their faces covered with scarves or masks, however police powers to stop and search in anticipation of violence and to require the removal of disguises were authorised this morning and remain in force.

Alleged offenses included one for assault on police, one for possession of a weapon and one for failing to remove a mask.
At 10.00 am the Met say officers executed a search warrant at a building in Beak Street after receiving reports that 'individuals were in possession of weapons and were intent on causing criminal damage and engaging in violent disorder'.
