Paralympics day three

ParalympicsGB have ended the day three of the games in third place, after medals in the pool, dressage and the velodrome.

Relatives of ParalympicsGB swimmer Ellie Simmonds were celebrating at the Olympic Park tonight after the 17-year-old took gold in the women's 400m Freestyle S6 with a new world record.

Ireland's Michael McKillop wins the Men's 800m in 1.57:22, setting a new world record. Mohamed Charmi of Tunisia came second and Brad Scott of Australia came third.

Oscar Pistorius wins round 1 heat 3 in the Men's 200m T44 in 21.30 seconds and sets a new world record in his first appearance at the Paralympics.
