The 48 year old singer was found dead in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel room on February the 12, the night before she was due to appear at the Grammy Awards.

A Los Angeles coroner has ruled Whitney Houston died by drowning, but heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors.
Houston was found submerged in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on February 11th, one day before the Grammy Awards. There were a number of bottles of prescription drugs in the room.
The Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey says cocaine metabolites were found in Houston's system, and said the results indicated Houston was a chronic cocaine user.
