Nominations are now open for the 2017 ITV Fundraiser of the Year – part of the Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards.
We’re looking for people with an inspirational story to tell – individuals who’ve really made a difference to others through their creative or tireless fundraising efforts.
Our latest Pride of Britain nominee for the South East is an animal lover who, in the last three years, has reunited more than four thousand lost or injured pets with their owners. She's on call 24-hours a day and says she spends every penny she has paying for vet bills to help sick animals. Please be warned - some might find the images in Abigail Bracken's report distressing.
