Inspirational Fund raisers who are the Pride of Britain

Now, this year, ITV Meridian is once again joining forces with the Daily Mirror to find an inspirational - fund raiser - for the Pride of Britain Awards. We've been looking for people who think about others before themselves - putting communities first. The winning nominee will go to the Pride of Britain awards in London - later this year - and join celebrities on the red carpet. We've chosen four finalists - out of the many who were nominated by viewers - and we'll be telling YOU their story this week - with the winner, announced on Friday. Today, we meet Darran Saunders, from Sussex, who lost her son Connor when he was fatally injured in an unprovoked attack.
