62 year old charged with pensioner's murder
Police have charged a man with murder after a pensioner's body was found at a house in Faversham.
Kent Police were called to Crispin Close on Friday afternoon to reports that a 75 year old man had died there.
Anthony Goodwin, 62, of Crispin Close, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and taken into police custody.
The victim has been formally identified and his next of kin have been informed. The victim and the suspect are believed to have been known to each other.
Goodwin has been remanded in custody and will appear by video-link before Medway Magistrates Court on Monday 22 May.
