Travel update: J7 M40 to remain closed until later today

Thames Valley Police have announced that the exit slip road at junction 7 of the M40 will remain closed until later today. It is for barrier repair works following this morning's coach crash.

Drivers are advised that, as well as the exit slip road closure, there is queueing traffic and congestion on M40 to J6 B4009 (Watlington).

There is a diversion, instructing drivers to exit at J8 or J8A instead, then use local roads towards Thame, Oxford or Stadhampton.
