The bad weather overnight has had a knockon effect on the region's transport network. Rail travel has been disrupted with many rail operators reporting severe delays and cancellations. Some roads are also flooded.
Sandford Lane in Woodley is now closed in both directions due to flooding between Colemans Moor Road (Woodley) and B3030 Davis Street / Dunt Lane (Hurst).
