Thousands of music-lovers at the Isle of Wight festival donned David Bowie masks last night in tribute to the late genius.
The singing was led by Andrea Corr and Gary Kemp from Spandau Ballet, who performed an acoustic version of Starman.
You can watch it here:
Kemp said : "It was nerve-wracking! I listened to Starman as a 13-yr-old and it was that moment watching it that turned me into a Bowie freak!"
Tonight 'Queen' who also collaborated with Bowie on their 1982 hit 'Under Pressure' will bring the 2016 festival to a close with Adam Lambert on lead vocals.
In 2004, David Bowie played what was to be his last ever live show in the UK, closing the final night of the Isle of Wight Festival at Seaclose Park, Newport as part of his ‘A Reality Tour’.
