More than sixty firefighters in ten fire engines spent much of the day dealing with a large fire at the Fireworks Factory shop on Bitterne Road West in Southampton.
Neighbouring properties were evacuated just after 5am this morning with more than 60 people having to leave their homes. The area was also cordoned off for the emergency services to deal with the incident.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have urged people to avoid the Bitterne area of Southampton - as they try to contain a large fire at a fireworks factory.
10 fire engines and around 50 firefighters are currently trying to put out the fire on Bitterne Road West.
