These elections were for a third or half of local council seats - not full councils. So, Labour holds Southampton with a slim majority of 25 councillors - winning 12 seats on the night. The Conservatives have 19 seats.
Labour now has 19 councillors in Crawley - gaining one extra seat. The Conservatives have 17.
The Lib Dems in Eastleigh - 38 seats overall - against the Tories 6. The Lib Dems held 12 and gained one extra. The Conservative party - 2.
The Conservatives remain the largest party in Portsmouth with 19 seats - but fall short of a majority, with no overall control. Tory leader, Councillor Donna Jones, said her minority administration will continue to work with UKIP and the Labour Party.
