Dame Kelly to run her first marathon

She's Britain's most successful female middle distance runner and still holds the British records for both the 800 and 1500 metres.

But ten years after she won double gold at the Athens Olympics Dame Kelly Holmes from Kent is stepping out of her comfort zone and into this year's London Marathon, which takes place this Sunday.

She hopes to raise a quarter of a million pounds for five charities, including two local ones close to her heart.
