Investigation into football pitch incident continue

An investigation is underway tonight into the death of a man who suffered an electric shock on an artificial football pitch in Portsmouth.

Paramedics were called to the Mountbatten Leisure Centre yesterday evening.

The 34-year-old man was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital, but he later died.

The area around the football pitch is still cordoned off this evening. Our reporter, Richard Jones, sent this from the scene.
