A man who attempted to rape a young woman as she walked home from a nightclub has been jailed for seven years - after his victim tracked him down on Facebook.
James Huggett, 22, of Woodland Drive, Minster, on the Isle of Sheppey, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court for the attack on 21-year-old Chanel Purchase last year.
She was able to bring him to justice by turning detective on social media.
She has waived her right to anonymity to warn others of the risks women face.
