Police force refers itself to IPCC after Abingdon stabbing

Thames Valley Police have referred themselves to the police watchdog the IPCC following a fatal stabbing at Poundland in Abingdon.

It's understood the force had previous contact with the man accused of killing 61 year old Justin Skrebowski.

36 year old Trevor Joyce is in custody charged with murder.

Police say the referral is standard procedure
