Special lobster Christmas tree helps local fishermen

A seaside town has created a Christmas tree with a twist - it's made out of lobster pots.

The ‘Emsworth Lobster Pot Christmas Tree’ is an opportunity to support the local fisherman as well as contributing to a unique Christmas Tree.

Emsworth is renowned for its fishing families over generations but recent storms have caused terrible damage locally and nationally - during which much of the fishermen's livelihood and equipment was lost.

The town hopes that by replacing some of the items, such as the lobster pots through the Emsworth Lobster Pot Christmas Tree, small businesses will have another fishery to access.
