Joanna Lumley unveils Gurkha statue

Joanna Lumley unveiled a memorial statue in Folkestone this weekend, paying tribute to 200 years of Gurkha service in the British Armed forces.

The actress - who supported the Gurkha campaign for rights to live in the UK in recent years - unveiled the statue in Folkestone, the home of the Royal Gurkha Rifles regiment.
