Emin leads artists at Art Car Boot Sale
A car boot sale which mixes the traditional market event with an art fair has taken place at Margate in Kent.
Art car boot sale heads to Emin's hometown of Margate
The Vauxhall Art Car Boot Sale is taking place in Kent today, with names from the art world travelling to Margate to take advantage of the occasion.
Among the big names attending the event are the artist Tracey Emin, who grew up in the Kent town. The event, which combines a classic car boot sale and an art fair, was set up by Karen Ashton, who came up with the idea in 2004. Other artists taking part include Gavin Turk, Rachel Howard, Vic Reeves and Sir Peter Blake.
