A 17-year-old boy from Fleet has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with the fire that engulfed a church last night.
Police were called at 5.49pm on Monday, June 22, 2015 to a fire at All Saints Church on Church Road, Fleet.
Areas around the church were sealed off while fire crews worked to put out the flames and examine damage to the building.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary increased patrols overnight to maintain public safety and preserve any evidence that may assist in establishing the cause of the fire.
