A 17 year-old boy from Fleet arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at All Saints Church has been released on bail until August 27, pending further investigation.
Fire crews were called to the scene yesterday evening. Areas around the church were sealed off and it took fire crews 3 hours to put out the flames. The roof and interior of the building has been completely destroyed.
Police officers are in the area providing reassurance to local churches and the community. They're also renewing their appeal for witnesses.
