It has been announced that Chichester College Principal, Shelagh Legrave is to receive an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Shelagh, who has been Principal of Chichester College since 2010, will be awarded the OBE for services to Further Education.
This award comes after the College were awarded Outstanding in every inspection area during their general inspection in March 2014, in addition to gaining a second Outstanding for their residential care in February of this year.
“I am absolutely thrilled and honoured to be receiving an OBE. It is, however, testament to the great staff and students of Chichester who have made this possible.”
Surrey Police Chief Constable Lynne Owens is awarded a CBE for her services to policing and criminal justice.
Kent Police’s Chief Constable has received the prestigious Queen’s Police Medal in Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours list.
Martin Clunes has said he is "tremendously proud" after being awarded an OBE for services to drama, charity and the community in Dorset.
