Shops forced to close because of flooding

Shops in the Kent area have been evacuated and forced to close after they could not cope with the extreme weather conditions.

Asda in Sittingbourne was evacuated after heavy rainfall caused lots of water to fall through the roof.

There are reports the Morrisons in Maidstone has been closed after sections of the roof collapsed and Wetherspoons in Sittingbourne has been closed due to flooding.
